From the
11th July 2016, MQRIC will
start operating from Malta Life Sciences Park directly in front of Mater
Dei (by the roundabout). Concurrent with this change of premises:
MQRIC will no longer be conducting
face-to-face acceptance of
applications and will
ONLY BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS BY EMAIL on qric.malta@gov.mt.
Should this not be possible, the general public is
invited to avail of the services of Servizz.gov for assistance with submitting
an application. Such assistance can be sought at the sites in Paola (Local
Council), B’Kara (Civic Centre) or Qawra (Leap Centre). Also, the general
public is encouraged to phone on free phone 153 to check what documentation is
to be represented before actually going on site.
If MQRIC
requests clarification or further information regarding an application, it will
contact you for such clarification and information. A receipt by email will be
issued for all valid submissions.
This
move will abrogate the need for letters of authorization as we shall expect all of our clients to
submit their applications from their personal email directly to us.
All rules regarding legalization and apostilles of translations will
still be in effect. If we require sighting of original or
notarized documents we will contact you as well at which time we may request
you to send your documents by post after which we will return them back to you.
