NCFHE Launches a New Online System
NCFHE Launches a New Online System
Page Content
The NCFHE will be launching a new online system on Monday 5th September 2016 that caters for the ever-growing market while simplifying the end user experience.
The system covers the operations carried out by the
Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre
(MQRIC) and the
Licensing and Accreditation Unit
.
The
MQRIC
is the competent body within the NCFHE that recognises qualifications against the
Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF)
. Following an application by the end user, a recognition statement is issued indicating the recognition status and MQF Level for that particular qualification. This service will start being provided completely online, with the ability to download a recognition statement from our website. The
MQRIC
will no longer be accepting application forms via email or over the counter. Administrative fees for such service will apply.
As for
Licensing and Accreditation Unit
, this provides licenses for further and higher education institutions to operate from Malta and accredits programmes and courses according to the MQF. Educational institutions will start registering online and will be able to access all necessary documentation through their own account. The administrative fees applicable for such service will remain unchanged.
